FAQ

Where does the career and task data come from?

The data is ingested directly from the official O*NET database (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor). It contains over 1,000 standardized occupations and their constituent tasks, which we parse and join dynamically.

How is task-level AI risk classified?

Tasks are categorized based on automation frameworks: High Risk represents routine cognitive or manual tasks (e.g., data entry, standard document prep). Medium Risk covers semi-structured cognitive tasks (e.g., basic financial analysis, code templating). Low Risk is assigned to unstructured physical adaptability, complex strategic planning, and high-empathy interpersonal leadership.

How does the upskilling simulator protect my career?

No career is 100% automated or 100% safe. By adjusting the sliders to represent a shift in your daily hours—reducing routine tasks (High Risk) and increasing strategic advisory or complex execution (Low Risk)—the simulator calculates a customized, lower career vulnerability score.
